We created The Lovers Rum combining culture, design, emotions and fantasy into a liquid.
Our unique bottle feature displays a Tarot card label that is instantly recognisable, allowing you to spot your favourite rum instantly. The Lovers Rum Tarot card design displays a myriad of layered symbols that directly connect the characteristics and flavour profile of this rum. The label’s story is one of adventure, exploration and fantasy, full of hidden messages.
As each new rum in this series is released, a unique Tarot card label on the bottle will tell the story of the rum inside.

The Tiger represents India, where one of the founders is from, and the nickname for a very important person on this project. It’s also the symbolism of courage, dignity, glory, strength and overcoming obstacles.
Our rum’s name is taken from The Lovers Tarot card. The origins of this blend are from Latin American and Caribbean rums

Without sugar cane there we will not be rum.
For hundreds of years, this fruit has been represented as the symbol for hospitality.
Represents travelling, exploring, discovering and sharing, both by Air and Sea.
Flamingos symbolise beauty, balance and grace. They also represent confidence and individuality. All these characteristics are embodied in this rum.
We want to have the same rum throughout the world, avoiding restrictions, so its strength is consistent at 43%.
Each Tarot card when upright has a positive meaning. For The Lovers it’s Falling in Love, Commitment, Choices, Balance, Faith, and Harmony.
When a card is reversed the meaning can have a negative connotation: Separation, Difficulty, Imbalance, Challenge, and Conflict. However, even when reversed The Lovers is a powerfully positive omen, for all relationships in your life. We feel that our first blend perfectly reflects a symmetry in the meaning of this card.
The card behind The Lovers represents the next rum in the family, soon to be released.
This concealed card represents a Limited Edition rum that will be available in the future.
